Anetheron fue creado por Angélica (bateria) y Geovanny (voz y guitarra).

Oficialmente, la banda se dio a conocer en septiembre del 2014, en noviembre del mismo año se grabó el primer sencillo con el que la banda se diera a conocer en enero del 2015, titulado 'Dreadlord', este cuenta con la participación en la voz de Maysa Rodrigues, guitarrista y vocalista de Cauterization (Brasil).

Para finales de ese año se inició la grabación del primer EP homónimo, lanzado en formato físico en mayo del 2016, mismo año en el que se logró encontrar a los miembros faltantes para poder tocar en vivo. Actualmente, la alineación se compone de Eynar en el bajo y coros (aunque Eynar salió durante dos años, es y ha sido el único bajista de la banda, cumpliendo un papel importante dentro de ella), Angélica en la bateria, Geovanny en la voz y guitarra y desde octubre del 2024, Max, se ha sumado a las 7 cuerdas.

En noviembre del 2017 salió el sencillo titulado 'Cataclysm', en septiembre del 2018, 'Necromancer' y en enero 2020, 'The Gods ov Yore'. Nominados como banda promesa en el 2017 de los premios Kalani al metal Mexicano.

Han compartido el escenario con varias bandas nacionales y extranjeras, por mencionar algunas; Anetheron fue banda invitada de Cradle of Filth en su regreso a la Ciudad de México, también han tocado junto a Luxuria the Lilith(BR), Hexis(DNK), Uburen(NOR), Tortharry(CZ), Soulcide(MX) por mencionar algunos.

Cuando llegó la pandemia hubo un receso de los escenarios, pero, siempre trabajando en música nueva. Actualmente, están de regreso promocionando su nuevo sencillo "Black Empire" disponible en todas las plataformas digitales y tema que se podrá encontrar en el álbum de larga duración que llevara por nombre "The Veil Ov Shadows" el cual se espera ser lanzado a mediados del 2025 en formato físico.
